Rare
Poultry

Our ultra-rare breeding flocks include Belgian Liege Fighters, Peafowl, Indio Gigantes, andSebastopol Geese.

We pay careful attention to breed

SOP and work towards healthy,

hardy birds that are beautiful

expressions of their breed.

Hatching eggs are available for shipping year-round. Day-old, juvenile, and adult birds may be available from time-to-time on an

individual basis.

who we are

Welcome to Laura Ingalls Wildest, where we’re all about bringing the best of the Middlewest to your homestead—whether you’re on a sprawling prairie farm or nestled in a cozy city flat. We’ve got you covered with our sustainable solutions for both humans and animals.

Our brand is inspired by our love and respect for rare poultry.  We are currently working to improve compliance to the Belgian SOP with our two excellent flocks of Belgian Liege Fighters.  We're raising the tallest chickens in the world via our Indio Gigante flock, and we're preserving and raising the most beautiful Sebastopol Geese.

Based at Middlewestern Farm, we are committed to ethical practices in raising livestock and cultivating crops. Our dedication to environmental stewardship and humane treatment of animals guides every aspect of our work, ensuring that our products reflect our values. It’s all about stewardship and respect for our land and animals.

So, come on in and explore our collections. We’re excited to help you embrace a lifestyle that’s all about quality, tradition, and a little bit of Middlewestern magic.
